• LMS PROJECT: LMS re-platform, credit risk intends to retire external vendor products due to challenges being faced such as the performance of the aggregation engine, support delays, incompatibility with the latest Oracle upgrades etc. LMS re-platform will replace the old vendor-based process in-house developed limit/exposure aggregation engine with the data consumption in aws s3 layer engine built in Risk data lake which will enable faster limit and exposure calculation.
• Role Description: Spark-Scala Developer:
• Implemented data transformation, aggregation and processing workflow
• Collaborated with data engineering teams to design efficient ETL processes in Hadoop and load from Oracle to AWS S3.
• Written clean, reusable code following functional requirements and principles
• Conducted debugging and error resolution for spark jobs.
• Developed unit test cases for spark applications to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Provided detailed test reports and maintained documentation for the testing process and outcomes.
• Identified and fixed bugs, ensuring compliance with functional and technical requirements.
• Validated data transformation, aggregation, and spark job outputs for accuracy and performance.

Project - CITI BANK LATAM(2021-2022)

• Citi Bank is one of the leading banks around the world. The motto of the project is to analyze various data from different regions around the world and populate the data into reporting modules like Tableau and Power BI.
• Role Description: Hive - spark Developer:
• To understand the requirements from the Business Analyst and get the HLD document.
• Discuss with the Data design team and BA team and understand the requirements thoroughly.
• Write clean code according to the standard.
• Coding and unit testing as per the template and development E-2-E pipeline using IMPALAHQL and SPARKSQL.
• Move the report to production after getting sign-off from various users.
• Solve production issues in the Dev environment and move again to production after getting sign-off from QA and end users.
• Resolve bugs and errors.
