As a Project Manager in a healthcare company, I am responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and management of multiple healthcare facilities. I currently manage six offices: SBB, LSL, Plantation, MT Dora, Leesburg, and Wildwood. My role is central to ensuring smooth operations, addressing any operational gaps, and providing solutions to any challenges that arise in these locations.

My key responsibilities include:

  • I am responsible for identifying any operational issues or loopholes in the facilities I oversee.
  • I focus on continuous improvement, troubleshooting challenges, and proposing actionable solutions.
  • One of my main tasks is to manage the schedules of all healthcare providers working in my locations, ensuring their time is optimized and any scheduling conflicts are resolved.
  • I ensure that all appointments, patient care sessions, and administrative tasks are well-organized and communicated with staff, leading to a smooth day-to-day operation.
  • I arrange meetings for the Directors of Operations, (who is my immediate manager as well ) and the CEO of the company. As part of the management team, I coordinate their schedules .
  • I facilitate efficient communication between the upper management and the operational teams in my facilities.
  • I am actively involved in the hiring process for medical assistants(MA) , MDs, APRNs and FDs in my locations.
  • A key part of my role involves direct communication with patients to address their concerns and queries. Whether it’s helping resolve billing issues, appointment scheduling conflicts, or any patient-related challenges, I ensure that the patients’ needs are promptly addressed.
  • I regularly liaise with the call center team to understand any challenges or issues that patients are facing. I proactively identify patterns and work with the relevant departments to create solutions that improve patient experience and address concerns.
  • I maintain oversight of the tasks being completed at my facilities, ensuring the timely and proper documentation of all Reports like Copay sheet, Issue report sheet, Crash Cart Report, etc are done.
  • One of my most critical roles is acting as a communication bridge between the upper management (such as the Directors and CEO) and the frontline staff. I ensure that the directives and expectations of the higher management are clearly communicated to the staff at my facilities.
  • I also act as a voice for the staff, bringing any operational or logistical challenges they face to the attention of higher management to ensure proper solutions are put in place.
