1. Pick By Bag
Project Detail : Previously for Apparel category totes were used for picking but due to less space pickers keep totes outside the aisle which increased cycle time and fatigue, so to overcome these issues Bags were implemented which was easy to carry and helped in cycle time reduction and increased IPP by reducing the fatigue.
2. P2PC Reduction (Pick list Creation To Pick list Confirmation)
Project Detail : Previously we had covered more number of aisles for one pick zone , which increased the distance for the picker to complete one pick list & was taking more time for single pick list affecting P2PC. We redesigned the pick zone by increasing the number of zones which had less aisles , which reduced P2PC & increase in picker IPP.
Achievements
- Part of 2 warehouse setup of Flipkart - Malur BTS & Anjaneya BTS.
- Monitoring of Inventory Errors - BBD IRT Team-Successfully monitored inventory errors.
- Planning roaster for around 900+ employees during BBD for seamless operations.
