PROJECT EXPERIENCE
1. Revinate – Hospitality Guest Data Platform (Java 8/11/21, Spring Boot, Spring AI, Kafka, Groovy, XSLT, AWS KMS/SSM, Kubernetes, Terraform)
Microservices ingesting guest/reservation data from multiple PMS platforms into a CDP. Built PUSH, PULL and file-based interfaces with async processing (CompletableFuture) and XSLT/Groovy transformations to JSON. Migrated apps from Java 8 to Java 21 using Windsurf. Designed a reusable AES encryption library (KMS + SSM) used by Ledger and downstream Kafka consumers. Built RAG and agentic AI in Java with Spring AI (Gemini, Claude).
2. Competitor Item Insight – Retail (Java 17, Spring Boot 3, WebFlux, Kafka, MongoDB)
DDD-based microservices comparing competitor prices at store and price-area level. Developed APIs, ATLAS search queries, Swagger docs and design documents; built reactive processing with WebFlux; debugged via CloudWatch logs.
3. KIBO Integrations (Java 8, Spring Boot, MySQL, EC2)
Built KIBO OMS integrations for Braintree credit card and Affirm payments, plus a Magento-to-KIBO order sync application; deployed on EC2.
4. SWEFT – SaaS Merchandising (Java 11, Spring Boot, MySQL)
Developed backend services for dashboard, product, creative and marketing modules; customized services and due diligence flows per client/country; wrote unit tests; migrated Spring Boot 1 to 2.
5. RWB and PII – Standard Chartered Bank (Java 8, Spring Boot, JBoss Fuse, OSGi, Oracle)
Backend services for iPad apps used for customer onboarding and investment ideas; customized onboarding and due diligence for SG, AE, MY; resolved downstream connectivity issues.
6. Performance Engineering – GSI Ecommerce (Technical Lead)
Led performance diagnostics: JVM, heap and thread dump analysis, log analysis, defect reporting. Introduced WebPageTest, Showslow and HTTP Archive, automated Excel reporting, ran JVM workshops. Tools: Dynatrace, LoadRunner, JMeter, New Relic.
