· Preparation of cause and effect matrix, operating control and safeguarding philosophy Logic Description and CSED checking.

· Pump sizing, Line sizing, control valve sizing, hydraulic calculation and Pressure relief valve sizing.

· Preparation of Line list, Equipment list and valve list.

· Preparation of Instrument and Equipment Process datasheets.

· Review of inter disciplinary documents such as plot plan, equipment layout, Isometrics and Piping specifications, General Arrangement Drawing etc.

Responsibilities:

• Overpressure scenario identification and relief rate calculation
• PSV sizing for Single phase and 2 phase relief
• Preparation of Pump sizing, Line sizing and hydraulics
• Maximum flow through Control valve and relief rate
• Upstream and downstream pressure drop calculation using ABB Piper and ABB Adrian
• Hands on experience in Aspen Hysys and ABB PEL tool
• Identification of HP-LP interface and Protection on Low pressure side
• Aspen hysys simulation in both steady state and dynamic simulation

Project: Demo Project on Tank model - ABB AbilityTM Simulator

Responsibilities:

• Import/Export of T315C pre-developed application
• Connection check using soft controller and OPC server check
• Usage of Configuration and Link tool
• Exploring 800xA plant explorer workplace & Operator workplace
• Troubleshooting downloading the project and going online in Control Builder M
• Development of Graphics/new functional structure from the pre-developed application
• Control Object type mapping from 800xA workplace for libraries like Control standard Library, Control Extended Library, Process Object Extended Library, Process Object Basic Library, Sxx_Project Library and PCDL Library
• Development of Simulator framework using Simulator workplace and server control panel
• Development of response model from 800xA application using model Editor tool and run using instructor workplace
• Response of Tank level is simulated with respect to valve operation in the operator workplace

Project: ABB AbilityTM Simulator -800xA systems

Responsibilities:

• Integration of DCS system (800xA) to the model using RSI link
• Simulation of control application using 800xA simulator
• Restoration of backup from the plant system
• Startup procedures for the model
• IO & Device feedback inhouse tool for testing of the control objects
• Development of model in the low fidelity inhouse tool (Loop Feedback) for tanks, reactors, Heat exchangers and recirculation loop
• Installation and system setup for the 800xA system and the Simulator framework.
