Teaching experience

  • I had been actively involved in teaching medical students and junior colleagues including nurses and radiographers. A regular feedback helps to improve my teaching skills and tailor my presentation style according to audience and setting.

  • I have a collection of interesting cases which I use to teach junior registrars. These interactive discussion sessions are considered useful by radiology registrars for A&E hot reporting and FRCR exam preparation.

  • I assist medical students during radiology taster weeks providing them an insight into the specialty; emphasizing the use of multi-modality radiological studies and importance of clinical information on the request form.
  • In current post I regularly present weekly case meetings and update the library collection. These meetings are a great form for radiology colleagues to share and learn from their experiences.
  • I have organized a study day for primary care physicians alongside our head of school.

Leadership and management experience

  • I am the lead for updating protocols for abdominal and body imaging . I am also the lead radiologist for cardiac and GI services.
  • I have lead the role for radiation protection in my hospital.
  • I also organise teaching and training session for foundation doctors.
