Datacentre Issues:

  • Before Switching to Openware Systems managed the Datacentre issues at Netmagic (India) like RAID failure, RAM Failure, OS Corruption, NAS Drive Failure, NIC failure, NLB Switch Failure, Raid Controller Failure iDRAC License renewals and excessive resource utilization which used to make the system and application unresponsive specially on servers where iDRAC was unavailable
  • Managed 4 full sized racks at Netmagic

Firewall, Switches, Routers & Networking Hardware:

  • Deployment/Configuration/Management/Maintenance of Cisco FirePower ASA 5500x, Cisco ASA 5525 – X, Fortigate 1800F, pfSense, AWS WAF
  • Deployment/Management/Maintenance of Cisco Catalyst 2960 Series and above switches (48 Port), Cisco/D-Link/Netgear POE Switches for Access Point’s, Unmanaged Cisco/Dlink/Netgear Gig Switches

Cybersecurity SOC setup:

  • Deploying & managing an internal VAPT server -AlienVault (SIEM Tool) to discover vulnerability within the network and outside and patch the loopholes.

  • Deployed/Managed a Mail farm capable of sending 1 million emails per day to opt-in customers using MailWizz, Sendblaster & Virtualmin along with 5 high powered Postfix SMTP Servers.
  • Continuously monitoring Virtualmin, MX Toolbox and DNSBL Blocklist for delivery issues.

DNS Server:

  • Managed Godaddy with ultimate privacy with deep knowledge of all DNS records, DNS Zones & DNS Forwarding as per organizational requirement.
  • Managing timely renewals and removing redundant entries due to multiple migrations.

Code Version Control:

  • Migrated from obsolete VSS to GIT repository on Ubuntu 18.04.
  • In Depth Knowledge of Tortoise SVN & Mercurial(Cloud)

Desktop Issues:

  • Acting L3 for troubleshooting File and Print Management Services, Hardware/Software/LAN/WAN issues and other miscellaneous IT tickets which L1 & L2 were unable to handle.
  • Amongst the first companies in India to roll out WFH due to prompt solution given by me ie Converting Physical Machines to VDI on vmWare from decommissioned server during migration from Netmagic India to Openware Systems UAE
  • Designed the complete network architecture from racks to switches to incorporate the decommissioned server and configuring separate storage and management network using Nic teaming to optimize performance

Endpoint Security:

  • Deployed/Managed one of the lightest EDR Bitdefender to centrally monitor threats during WFH and also when work was resumed from office
  • Deployed/Managed Teramind for Insider Threat Detection & Employee productivity monitoring and to help curb Social Engineering

Policy Rollouts:

  • Setting up Disaster Management and BCP Policy. Which really helped at the time of Ransomware attack we got systems back in 3 days by restoring roughly 300 systems via

  • Procurement of all IT Equipment’s saving Millions of Dollars for the organization. (Servers/Drives/AP’s/Desktop & Laptops etc)
