- There are 3 major parts to my daily tasks at UPS. Managed incoming trailers and coordinated their unloading. This has to happen in a timely manner that lines up with the arrival of the airplane and the intake of the air cans. This process usually has me scheduled with 20-25 employees who rely on me for their daily job duties.
- The second part of my day is the wrap up and release of the package cars on my belt. Provided support to pre-loaders for finishing loading their package cars. While this is taking place I am also responsible for making sure each package car has the correct packages in it. Once this is completed I am then able to release my drivers to start their day.
- The last part of my daily tasks is to flip all the scanners, switch the sort to local, clear trailers, enter daily trailer inventory, and submit all end of day paperwork.
