  • As a Vendor Quality Assurance Inspector, my primary role is to ensure the quality and packaging of our products at the vendor's place. I work closely with vendors to help them understand the specific qualities we require and the packaging standards we expect for our products. This involves regular visits and inspections at the vendor's facilities to monitor their practices.
  • To maintain product integrity, we implement Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) at the vendor's place. By adhering to these industry standards, we aim to improve the overall quality of the products and ensure they meet the necessary health and safety requirements.
  • Additionally, I regularly visit fish farms to gain a better understanding of their operations and to track any occurrences of diseases that could potentially affect our products. By monitoring the farm-level activities closely, I can identify and eliminate risks that may impact the quality of our products.
  • One of my key responsibilities is to keep detailed records of all incoming raw materials, including their sources and transportation details. This information helps us trace the origin of our materials and ensure that they meet our quality standards.
  • During my inspections at the farm level and coast, I meticulously check the raw materials and finished products for quality assurance. If any discrepancies or issues arise, I conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to address and resolve them promptly.
  • Part of my role involves educating vendors about the specific requirements and standards for product quality. By providing them with necessary guidance and training, we aim to foster a strong partnership and maintain consistent quality across the supply chain.
  • To ensure proper stock rotation and minimize product wastage, we strictly adhere to the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) method. This practice ensures that products with shorter shelf lives are sold or used first, reducing the risk of expired or spoiled items.
