• Development of LHB Coach Components based on Germen Technology of graded Steel castings (DIN 17182) and graded SG iron castings for Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala specified by sub-zero temperature impact properties and during development of the castings close interactions and technology transfer with Germen experts.
• Development of High Tensile Centre Buffer Coupler Components for Indian railways of American Rail Roads (AARM201) standards specified by high tensile strength and yield strength, subzero temperature (-40ºC) impact properties and a (-57ºC) fracture toughness properties.
• Development of cost effective Methoding of different Indian Railways products to get defect free castings and their most economical heat treatment cycles to obtain the best mechanical and metallurgical properties.
