Responsibilities:

• Design and Implementing Converged Infrastructure Solutions end-to-end (DELLEMC / VMware /Cisco Products) in VXBlock and VXRail.
• Working in VCE CSS and Professional business unit and part of a team responsible for Design consultancy and troubleshooting issues w.r.t VXblock/VXRail storage, networking and virtualization components.
• Managing and compute, network and storage from Unified Infrastructure Management/Provisioning tool. Determine root cause analysis of incidents.
• Working with external customers to define requirements, solve technical issues and provide professional services.
• Maintaining SLAs and working to defined service level agreements and key performance indicators.
• Solving the problems related to vSphere environments (Compute Vsphere , VSAN , NSX-V/T and vRealize suite )and Hardware issues.
• Performing Root Cause Analysis and creating Knowledge Base Articles.
  

• Datacenter Back-up Lead, Cisco UCS-Server-Virtualization Administrator, Responsible for ensuring datacenter availability and reliability meet the requirements of data operations
• Perform the task of providing 24*7 hours support in maintenance and repairing of systems
• Build process, including shipping and receiving of parts or equipment RMAs from CISCO, ORACLE, EMC, etc. Identification of product incompatibility and work around solutions needed
• Deploy new equipment, such as, building racks, cabling, and other tasks as necessary. Perform Datacenter walkthrough verifying alerts for PDUs any server ambers lights reporting any finds to Technical Support teams.

• Audit datacenter: spares, cabinets, rows, hardware, fiber and patch cable and cross connects
• Assets inventory using MS-Excel spreadsheets, tagging &scanning, receiving assets and parts from Purchase Order, transfer, update, etc.)
• Assisting in the operation, and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and power equipment within the Datacenter.
• Assist in maintenance and monitoring of all Data Center systems to include incidents/events, problems, changes, monitoring, problem escalation/notification/resolution and all other aspects of Data Center support
• Cisco UCS/Flexpod – Architecture with network, storage and compute, build, and daily administration & break/fix expert of 6200, 6300 series FI’s
• Conducting case study for project planning, scoping and tracking and coordinating with Solution Architect for requirement mapping and development
• Managed Virtualization Environment using VMWare ESX 6.0, VMWare vSphere 6.x Creation and Managing Virtual Machines.
• Clusters for High Availability (HA) and Distributive Resource Scheduling (DRS).
• Creation of Virtual Switches, Ports and Port groups and setting up Layer 2 Security Policies for Virtual Networks.
• Troubleshooting issues relating to drivers such as compatibility issues with help of event log.
