  • Analysis of Engineering BOM and 3D models from engineering via Teamcenter to create comprehensive Visual Instructions (Operational Method Sheets) for manufacturing assembly using standard ppt template in Lam's Proprietary MES.
  • Planning Operations sequence and Part/Component assignment to respective operations from MBOM in MES by referring SAP Order BOM and POA.
  • Mapping hand tools and fixtures required for Assembly and ordering them.
  • Collaborating with Tech writers and Product Engineers to get the required inputs for task execution.
  • Supporting Lam manufacturing by documenting and releasing engineering drawings & bill of materials using Engineering Change Management process.
  • Create BOM Router sequencing in SAP and assigning appropriate workstations for the operations for product build readiness.
  • Check for NSRs and Options/Variants in SAP by reviewing Product Option Architecture (POA) and implement the changes for product build readiness.

  • Work with design engineering on DFX (Design for Excellence) to include: Design for cost, Design for test, Design for manufacturability, Design for assembly.
  • Suggesting and implementing minor design changes to the existing fixture to improve manufacturing efficiency and cost.
  • Driving Continuous Improvement projects to existing operation, for increased quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost savings.
  • Identifying ways to reduce production costs through recommendations - i.e., new process equipment, equipment justification to improve performance.

  • Achieved 12 hours Cycle Time reduction per product by introducing Production Line Balancing at two High Volume Lam Manufacturing sites resulting in a cost savings of $144K.
  • Identified and mitigated Safety and Ergonomic issues during on-site visit to Lam Manufacturing Malaysia.
  • Implemented 8D to resolve an NCe related to NSR implementation which lead to an automated dashboard for NSR Implementation resulting in increase of 75% in operational excellence.
  • Lead a team of 5 in the development of Leading and Lagging Indicator dashboards enabling Operational excellence and mitigate risks of Product Launch delays and line down situations.
  • Lead a complete PECVD product build at Lam Transit site by Coordinating material movement, procurement, tool readiness, training, stock management, warehouse and IT setup, safety, deployment to Lab for build and test management, and project closure to ensure seamless operations.
