Roles and Responsibilities:

• Safety Co-ordinator for DC-Business Unit.
• Responsible for maintaining safe workplace by ensuring closer of UA/UC (unsafe act/condition) and concealed hazard by line engineers and safety champions.
• Lead Plant Gemba Meeting by providing weekly details on Safety,Quality,delivery,Inventory and productivity of Dc unit to management.
• Weekly and monthly analyzing Scrap Data, RTY data preparing action plant for improving quality of product on production line.
• Quarterly analyzing EDPM and IDPM data and preparing PSP projects in calibration with quality and process Departments.
• Effective Implementation of 7 QC tools, 8D, PSP, Gauge R&R. for problem solving.
• Monthly making level load with planning team asper monthly plan.
• Encouraging line engineers to prepare Build plan analysis and discussing with manufacturing team for smooth running of production cells.
• Preparing SOP and giving training to Line engineers,technicians and operators for new process and modified process.
• Co-ordinating with R&D team for tooling, documentations and process for new product build and pre-series build.
• Maintaining inventory mismatch for ensuring cycle count by line engineers and material handler.
• Daily Gemba meeting with Line engineers, Line leaders and technicians for smooth production by ensuring material availability and ensuring quality with productivity on cell. And to solve and maintain discipline issues on cells.
• Monthly Productivity data analysis for small LCA and other projects identified to improve PPH of cells.
• Making Objectives and development plans by in lining with company goal for line engineers and trainees.
• Preparing Cross training program for operators with in department for reducing manpower risk while having sudden spike in production plan for particular cell.
• Ensuring Calibration and Preventive maintenance of instruments and machine by conducting meeting with quality department, maintenance team and line engineers on monthly basis.
• Ensuring closer of customer Audit NCs and observations,
• Preparing documents as for ISO and AS audit checklist.
• Weekly 5s rounds with respective cell Engineers to maintain 5s on cell.
• Planning Kaizen for productivity improvements, 5s improvements and safety improvements.
• Weekly revenue meetings with Customer services and planning team to meet monthly revenue targets.
• Driving small improvements at operator level by having quality circle projects and presenting at national level at NCQC competitions.
• Monthly meeting with Line Engineers and Trainees related to their KPI and giving them feedback for their work.
• Conducting Layer 2 Audit on cell.

• Various Site Handling and inspection of work done.

• Maintaining stock of tools and tackles.
• To maintain system stock same as physical stock.
• Making report of Daily work and after completion of job preparing report of work done to customers.
• Proper Planning and Inventory control.
• Inspection work before starting work.
• Dealing with clients directly on site.
