TOPIC - " Extraction of Citrus limon leaf oil and determination of its antimicrobial and antioxidant potential".
1. EXTRACTION : Extracting oil (volatile) from the lemon leaves using Soxhlet apparatus
2. PHYTOCHEMICAL ANALYSIS : Extracted oil was analyzed to detect the presence of bioactive substances using "Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrophotometry (GC-MS)".
3. ANTIMICROBIAL SCREENING : The extracted oil was then evaluated for its antimicrobial potential using "well diffusion" method
4. ANTIOXIDANT ASSAY : The extracted oil was evaluated for its antioxidant potential using 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazy (DPPH) radical scavenging activity.
