Elastography and B-mode images are combined as a diagnos1c tool to differen1ate between benign and malignant breast lesions bases on their s1ffness and geometric proper1es. Image processing techniques and Data preprocessing methods and principal component analysis as a dimensionality reduc1on technique are applied to the dataset. A supervised learning algorithm support vector machine is used for the classifica1on of combined elastographic and B-mode images. Model valida1on is performed with K-fold cross-valida1on to ensure the generaliza1on of the algorithm. The maximum classifica1on accuracy is 94.12 when using SVM with the radial basis func1on RBF kernel.
