As a part of the core engineering team of Infoworks my area of work mainly concentrated around automating the complex tasks of data ingestion,Change Data capture, organizing data for performance and concurrency, and managing the data lifecycle. And to do this on a highly-scalable, cost-effective platform using Hadoop and Spark and also Responsible for overseeing day-to-day operation of the team, distributing the workload evenly among the team members and making sure motivation and performance levels are maintained.

• Team Lead for a team of 10 Software Engineers/Developers.
• Provide strategic and tactical direction for a wide variety of technical problems and new development activities specific to the Company mission.
• Work with cross functional teams like UI/Platform teams on technology decisions and technical designs.
• Keeping track of team development efforts with sprints/user stories/tasks.
• Design and development of Ingestion and CDC Framework on Spark to ingest and build customer datalakes from various sources like RDBMS,File’s, CRM’S, RestAPI’s and Distributed streaming platform’s etc..
• Design and development of Connector framework SDK where each connector can be developed and deployed, patched independent of the framework which resulted in adding ~200 connectors in a very short period of time.
• Design and development of custom connectors on top of spark to meet customer and product requirements.
• Integrating the product with Databricks on both Azure and AWS, Dataproc on GCP and also EMR on AWS to make sure product runs smoothly on all 3 major cloud platforms.

• Development of Data ingestion from various sources like Oracle,Netezza,Sap Hana, Teradata,Salesforce to Hadoop.
• Design and Development of Integrating Teradata Parallel Transporter(TPT) into Infoworks platform.
• Design and Development of near real-time ingestion of streaming data from Ka a and MapR Streams.
• Design and Development of Log based Change Data Capture from Oracle archive logs.
• Design and development of Schema synchronization to automatically handle addition of columns on the source.
• Traveled to customer location to handle POC's and successful production deployment of Infoworks at customer environment.

• Trained and mentored junior developers and engineers.

• Design and development of Schema Discovery from various RDBMS source and identifying the relation among the tables and suggesting a data model to the user.
• Metadata enrichment by identifying the categories in the data and range of values in data based on datatype of column.
