- Developing and maintaining the piping specifications to adhere with the latest codes and standards in addition to incorporating the Client's (such as IOCL, TFL, NRL) requirements.
- Preparation of Manual Valves, Pneumatic Valves, Control Valves, and Strainers: Description, Specification, and Datasheets.
- Reviewing and Coordinating P&ID and Project Line lists.
- Specify flange rating based on pressure and temperature and provide pipe wall thickness and material.
- Preparation, Review and maintenance of piping material & valve material specifications.
- Coordinating with the plant 3D model team through Constructability reviews.
- Prepare/Check Piping Material Requisitions.
- Perform technical bid evaluations of worldwide Contractors & Suppliers.
- Review vendor offers & submittals for valves, piping components, and specialty items.
- Review and provide approval of Contractors'/ suppliers' deviations related to Piping and Valves Materials.
- Developing resolutions and solutions to technical problems and issues.
- Construction site support regarding issues with piping materials and valves.
