Key Projects Handled

  • Project managed the multi-year TMS-ALM project for the finance and treasury work stream. This was a financial transformation project which aimed at upgrading the on-premise version of the Treasury and Asset Liability system to cloud version. Project enhanced performance, availability and enabled opportunity for scalability. Improvement was seen in uptime and response time. Automated generation of reports resulted in reduction of manual efforts and cost save. Existing bugs were fixed and manual workarounds addressed. The implemented cloud solution enabled strong access controls and encryption thereby enhancing cyber security.
  • Project managed the Citrix solution roll out for ~500 staff in Wolverhampton office in UK. The project was aimed at migrating users from desktop set up solution to Citrix. Project enabled enhanced security, centralized management and easier IT support, reduced hardware costs, improved business continuity and disaster recovery, better scalability, work from anywhere capability, reduced downtime, better compliance and auditing.
  • Successfully project managed the end-to-end delivery of Tax Insourcing project for the finance department. The scope of this project was to deploy software called ONESOURCE for corporate tax filing purpose. This project resulted in a potential annual savings of £33k on EY and KPMG advisory fees for tax computation as the project enabled capability within the business in completing tax computation in house.
  • Successfully migrated 12 Finance roles from UK to Bangalore resulting in cost synergy save of £23k per role per year.
  • Project managed the Online Savings Transformation Project, which involved upgrading the customer facing Internet Banking site and the backend CRM application to higher version resulting in positive impact to ~300k savings customers. Benefits of the project includes faster transaction processing, reduction in failed transactions, lower abandonment rate, improved CSAT and NPS scores, enhanced security, reduction in manual workload, fewer complaints and support tickets, higher Straight Through Processing (STP), Improved staff productivity, lower operational risk and faster complaint resolution.
  • Project managed the Aurora Upgrade project, which involved implementing key changes to the bank’s underwriting system for loans origination.
  • Project managed the FATCA/CRS project, which involved making key changes in the bank’s lending and savings core applications in order to meet FCA regulatory requirement.
  • Project managed the changes to reporting requirements project which aimed at making changes to few critical regulatory reports that are submitted to HMRC on half yearly and quarterly basis.
