Project : Northern Power Grid (NPG)

Software: I SMART and SMALL WORLD

• Part of a UK electrical conversion project, involving the precise measurement and placement of components such as LV and HV cables, ducts, and substations.
• Converted client-supplied data (PDF/JPEG formats) into geospatial formats, ensuring accuracy by aligning with grid and geo-references.
• Developed and maintained comprehensive GIS databases to support the mapping and management of electrical distribution networks, including power lines, transformers, and substations.
• Integrated electrical data with GIS layers to enhance asset management and facilitate real-time monitoring of electrical infrastructure.
• Coordinated with clients to resolve data discrepancies, ensuring all components were correctly mapped and linked to main feeder cables.

• This involves capturing of the gas services for buildings. We will receive the data in Excel format and Geo data base from the client as inputs. The Geo-data which is received from the client is imported from the Small world and in that Buildings and services are captured using some fittings. Like (Tee, Service connection point, Regulator, Riser ). Capturing the building as per provided address then service is connected building to main as per provided data.

• Created and managed hydrological databases integrating spatial and non-spatial data to analyze water bodies, river networks, catchments, and flood-prone areas using QGIS and ArcGIS.
• Developed hydrological models and simulations to assess river flow, rainfall patterns, groundwater recharge, and flood risk across various regions using GIS tools.
