- Company Overview: Wind World (India) Limited (WWIL) has wind farms today straddle seven high wind potential states Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh, spread across 3,000 kms of India. We have installed over 5700 Wind Energy Converters (WECs) with a capacity of over 4200 MW.
- Work in 717 WEC’s including 2 Sub-station with 600 KW & 800 KW variant of WEC with Concrete & Steel towers at Tamilnadu.
- Ensure adherence and support for Implementation of QA/QC activity at site.
- Inspection of Incoming and service materials at Regional/Site store.
- Face the Customer Audit, Internal Audit & ISO Audit. Also close all NCs within timeline.
- Prepare Audit plan for financial year based on PM Schedule and Co-ordinate with site team.
- Audit of the WEC (PM/Process/TCA), Wind farms, Site office (5S/Documentation), Store, Sub-station & Retrofitting work as per check list.
- Prepare audit report with two ratings (Workmanship & Overall condition of WEC) and circulate to site teams, awareness and knowledge sharing program with site teams on requirement basis.
- Co-ordinate and Conduct QA Classroom/theoretical & Practical training at site for Service employee on regular basis as per schedule.
- Analysis of repetitive failure/Material consumption/SDBMS and initiate quality tools like 7QC Tools, FMEA, DMAIC for identification of failure potentials and causes and further corrective action in coordination with site teams.
- Monitor and check healthiness of measuring instruments & testing equipments. Also maintain calibration records of same.
- Update and maintain SQA database on weekly basis.

- Resolve/verify/validate NCRs for technical closure with Failure mode Effective analysis(FMEA).
- Monitoring of FIFO practices, Storage & Handling methods of stock items.
- Participate periodic OMS review meetings & record minutes. In subsequent meetings the previous MOM points are reviewed &status updated. (Meeting shall include, points like, field failures, customer complaints, Best practices/ appreciations, Audit observations, Non-conformities, PM schedules, Quality/safety alerts, mock drills, Etc.)
