I recently retired from the mortgage business and seeking a job in the animal care field. I am open to full or part time. I would also be open to a job at the front desk or in the back. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty!
I want to outline some of my experience as relates to animals, especially dogs. I have been involved with all things dogs since, well forever! I show and trial in conformation, agility, obedience, rally and sent work. Many of my dogs have received their CGC's, temperament test, trick dogs test and many more. I groom my own dogs including coat, ears, teeth and nails.
I volunteered for FWACC for many years (although not now because I have 5 dogs). I bottle and tube fed puppies and kittens, provided basic medical care and nurtured them until they were ready to go up for adoption. I also had a number of momma dogs that gave birth at my home. I cared form them and their puppies until they were all ready to be adopted
I have a soft spot for special needs dogs. My dog Norma is deaf (from birth) she has her CGC, trick dog title, an obedience title, rally titles and numerous title in scent work. Opal is blind and deaf (from birth) she has her CGS and trick dog title. She also has numerous titles in scent work
