Experienced cable and networking tech with a love for the field of work. I've worked with and have a great understanding of the Meraki, Cisco, Advantech, Fortinet, and many other systems. This aspect accompanied by a drive for learning, bettering my work, and understanding more systems would make me a valuable asset to Atlas.
I’m currently a Lead Tech with the company. This entails running a normal route for spectrum while helping new/experienced techs with any needs. (equipment, troubles with job, troubleshooting) Fiber and business networking are also work types I complete. I put in our small parts orders and manage the warehouse conditions to ensure techs have the necessary supplies to complete work. Comcast also provides jobs for business networking where I bring sites online with switches, firewalls, cradle points, access points, and any other necessary equipment for a successful install.
I worked as a mail handler for the postal service and would be sent between The Annex and The Plant a lot. While I was at the Annex this included load/unloading trucks, moving parcels into designated spots, dumping/sorting parcels by zip code. The Plant would be the same operations except we would sort parcels and letters then follow the steps with letters and send parcels to The Annex. I was let go due to missing time. I was hospitalized for Atrial Fibrillation( a heart condition caused by irregular/sporadic heart palpitations.) I wasn’t a career employee yet, so I had no FMLA or any protection for time missed.
I started off as a food runner but quickly developed within the store learning other stations. I was able to close/open all areas( dinning room, cash register, food prep, food line, salad bar, dish, back of house) while operating those stations in business hours. I was a trainer as well and was set up to become manager but decided I wanted to try a different route and went to the postal service.
