Worked over 5 years at J. E. Shekell as an HVAC Service Technician Apprentice through the UA Local 136 Union Hall. Completed all 5 years of classes and 4 full years plus 1200 working hours of the 5th and final year under employment with J.E. Shekell. The majority of experience gained while at J.E. Shekell lies in the area of service on Package Units, Split Systems and Mini-Split Systems in which the majority consisted of Trane and Carrier Brand Package Units. Took care of 15-20 different maintenances bi-annually every year and ran on-call for 2 years. Have gained experience in troubleshooting, parts replacements such as compressors, driers, TXV’s, sensors, contactors, capacitors, relays and motors, as well as preventative maintenance on HVAC Systems. Had the privilege to work alongside many prestigious technicians while employed with J.E. Shekell, such as Don Nantz on Boilers, Daniel Mayer and Eric Lindenschmidt on Chillers.

Gained 2 years of experience as a Residential HVAC Installer. Specialized in removing and replacing existing condensing units, furnaces, and ductwork with new systems as well as building ductwork and running new construction installations. Departed employment to join the Union to further my HVAC career.
