Smooth functioning of Exim:

• Manage end-to-end import/export operations, including coordination with the freight forwarder, CHA, shipping line, and warehousing.
• Monitor shipment closely to ensure the smooth delivery and resolve issue promptly

Risk and Regulatory Management:

• Perform the risk assessment (custom rules and regulations, trade disruption, etc.).
• Keep the regulatory plan as per shipment.

Licensing, customs duties, and tariffs:

• Maintain all the required export/import documents, licenses, certificates, and registration as per the nature of the products.

Supplier and partner relations:

• Build and maintain supplier and vendor relationships, negotiate the rates, and service terms.
• Coordinate with the internal teams, CHA, freight forwarder, and warehouse to align the workflow.

Financial Oversight:

• Manage import/export budget, track freight and duty expenses, analyze margins.
• Identify the cost-saving area, and optimize the shipping method.

LC and Payment Method:

• Prepare the LC documents and submit them to the bank for further payment processing.

Follow DGFT and regulatory compliance.

• Prepare the checklist for DGFT compliance, as per the nature of the shipment, for a smooth flow of the transaction.
• Follow the regulatory compliance, such as EPR, LMPC, DPD, and custom notifications related to shipment.

Warehousing and Inventory Management:

• Perform the stock audit based on the products' functionality, and keep the warehouse ready for proper inventory control.

Expertise to handle:

• Pharma products (such as APIs, excipients, formulations, and agrochemicals)
• Chemicals (hazardous and non-hazardous) and battery products (EV technology).
• Surveillance technology (CCTV cameras and spare parts)

• To facilitate the smooth functioning of departments such as customer support, clearance, transportation, and warehouse management.
• Lead and direct pricing strategy formulation, and take necessary action to enhance profitability, ensuring integrity and accuracy in all pricing matters.
• Ensure to maintain a strong relationship with key customers, understand their needs, and requirements.
• Manage total price management, and the procedure to onboard the customer by following the shipment and regular updates.
• Coordinate with the customs clearance department. For on-time clearance without bearing any extra detention charges. .
• Perform a financial evaluation of the customer to assess pricing management.

• TakeMyShipment is a portal, a mediator between reputed shippers and transporters. Its B2B platform helps shippers reduce logistics costs and allows transporters to get new business.
• My role is to meet transporters, educate them about the portal, make them register, and guide them through the whole auction procedures.
• Develop a sales network and price structure to attain targets and increase revenues.
• Involve yourself in business strategies with managers and directors.

• Participation in events, seminars, and exhibitions.
• Targeting new clients while keeping an eye on existing ones.
• Promote bilateral trade between Indian-African and Indian-Arab markets.
• Generate leads through membership.
• Visit consulates for documentation and legalization.
