Checked the condition of vehicles tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, and safety equipment to ensure that everything is in safe working order.
Complied with traffic regulations to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
Prepared and submitted reports that may include the number of passengers or trips, hours worked, mileage, fuel consumption, or fares received.
Inspected the vehicles, and check oil, and water levels prior to departure.
Vehicles over specified routes or to specified destinations according to time schedules, complying with traffic regulations to ensure that passengers have a smooth and safe ride.
Assisted the passengers, such as elderly or disabled individuals, on and off the bus, ensured they are seated properly, helped carry baggage and answered the questions about bus schedules or routes.
Reported delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations.
Worked with the Permanency Planning Department to aid in coordinating home pass drop-offs and pickups for home visits.
Established listings for those workers who are grouped into door-to-door transportation.
Responsible for ensuring those female workers on the door-to-door drop off listing have appropriate and necessary items for weekend visits.
Ensured that all students that are on the door-to-door listing are scheduled for a visit and that the list for those students is returned to the Campus Crisis Office to verify their accountability.
Attended any and all training components that would enhance the staff ability to manage tasks associated with behaviour management/problem-solving skills.
