Designed and led the engineering team in building (from scratch) a 'contextual ads' vending service for Amazon Alexa Devices, promoting products based on customer's utterance. Subsequently worked on monetizing the ads. Collaborated with diverse teams and resolved challenges and ambiguities in boarding an Alexa-specific use case to teams that were tailor-made for other surfaces and use cases.

Having built a video content explorer service for App Store customers first, I did research to increase the top of the funnel and onboarded a couple more new clients to the serviThe research was based on the client's tenets, TPS, and potential ROI from its real estate in the display.lay. This brought more entry points for video use-cases, which in turn improved TPS and video engagement. Worked with engineers, TPMs, PMs across teams to establish tech and business alignment. Wrote HLD/LLD for new clients' integration, expanding to new geographies, scaling appropriately, and addressing other ambiguities. Received 'Day One' award and achieved 'Exceeded Expectations' in performance rating.

09/2016 - 05/2017 : FireOS (FOS) framework team Developed/Enhanced a couple of FireOS components and system apps for a new device launch. Designed and built a UX (device booting and factory reset) that spanned across system apps and OS framework components, for a 'first of its kind' device.

06/2017 - 02/2021 : Appstore for FOS Tablets team

Played a key role in ramping up FireOS tablets' appstore team (client apk and rendering service) in India. Worked on R&D projects, designed/delivered several customer facing features, cost-optimizations, been a release manager multiple app OTAs and streamlined the process etc...

One of my product proposals(a hackathon idea), '1P+3P video content explorer', made its way to our team's roadmap. Aimed at improving video engagement in fire tablets by building a video content catalog, I designed new set of micro-services on cloud at scale, collaborated with (a) fireTV services for new APIs, (b)FireOS framework team and with (c)3P partners like netflix. Worked with and guided QA team, PMs and TPMs in building use cases, spotting/sorting ambiguities, legal and other dependency bottlenecks. Defined the technical architecture, roadmap, and milestones to ensure the timely delivery of the project.

Designed/Implemented a Finite State Machine(FSM) in Tcl, that runs on 'Tertio' -a proprietary mobile network element provisioning tool of Evolving systems. The FSM provisions/updates the network elements for the mobile customer on 5G network. Developed it for T-Mobile UK, the first mobile operator to roll out 5G in the UK.

Worked as Developer building a tool for Honeywell's Credit Analysts. The web application, an MVP built with spring framework and Oracle, managed account receivables and payables across the globe. In addition, worked on building a globalizing billing web application for HoneyWell which had one billing application for 5 regions separately.
