• Developed Multiplatform Packet Filtering Firewall - Net-Protector. Implemented a network-based security initiative for
  corporate network as per local IS department requirement of one of the largest PSU refinery of India.
• The main objective of this project was to block/permit internet traffic on demand from a central location in any environment. Providing information about all IP packets along with its content.
• The purpose was to secure confidential and critical corporate information sent across different business units within and outside of the organization in addition to secure computer resources in network from hackers, malicious code, viruses and unauthorized access to key servers.
• Developed a monitoring feature in firewall to monitors and logs related network related information based on certain criteria such as traffic from different networking device and protocols (TCP, UDP, ICMP etc.) for each & every packet bypassed.
