Computational Investigation of NREL Phase 6 rotor

- Designed a CAD model of the NREL phase wind turbine blade using Fusion 360.
- Used an unstructured mesh with multi-reference frame approach to calculate drag Co-efficients and pressure distribution on the blade. [Done in Ansys Workbench]
- Verified the results obtained with the NREL experimental campaign.
Structured sliding mesh approach to verify NREL phase 6 rotor

- Used a structured mesh for CFD simulation of NREL wind turbine blade to obtain a higher mesh quality.
- Use a sliding mesh approach and compare it with the results obtained using multi reference frame model. [Done in ansys Workbench]
