Description : COMS (Customer Order Management System) Ecommerce

COMS is a legacy system and used by Warehouse people to complete the order journey like picking the entire order or short pick or partial short pick and failed delivery. To complete the order journey, Cam's system is interconnected with multiple systems (Gold, ARES, and eCommerce digital services).

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Developing PL/SQL code (functions, procedures, packages and etc. ...) for the enhancement work.
• Optimized database queries to enhance execution speed and efficiency as part of performance tuning.
• Implementing indexing strategies, query restructuring, and monitoring performance metrics for improved system responsiveness.
• Working on Uat issues and fixes. • Creating Estimation documents from the functional documents.
• Perform DML, DDL Operations as per requirement.
• Worked on migration project from COMS to OMS.
• Provide back-to-back user support during implementation (UAT/LIVE phase).
• Extensively used PL/SQL concepts like Bulk collect, PL/SQL tables and Dynamic SQL for DML operations for better performance.
• Analysis the issues and raised during the implementation/production.
• Resolve day-to-day problems, defects and provide enhancements in the current system.
• Used Collections and Ref cursors to process array of records.
• Attending to client’s query regarding the application.
• Helping other teams query that interacts with this team.
• Loading data to tables using SQL* Loader utilities and SHELL SCRIPTING.

Project # 2

Description: FI-PRECON

Client - Deutsche Bank

Deutsche Bank send a report to Pre-confirm the Fixed income Trades with the client. Client has additional requested to send an Excel report as soon as a trade is booked. In line with this, Deutsche Bank needs to provide a trade data cut to them via email so they can perform trade matching internally. It’ll be an output file in an Excel format containing all the existing information we send in the current fax/email confirmation as well as other fields such as cusip, both party’s SSI and trade status etc. Currently the process is managed manually using macros. Team spends about 2-3 hrs per day on SAFE Reporting. Trade volume is expected to rise in next 2 months. Incremental volume is expected to consume significant effort of the team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Developing the code, Unit testing and reducing entry-level errors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyses and understand business requirements.
• Involved in updating procedures, functions and packages based on the Change request.
• Extensively used PL/SQL concepts like Bulk collect, PL/SQL tables and Dynamic SQL for DML operations for better performance.
• Used Pragma Autonomous Transaction, Pragma serially reusable for improve performance of PL/SQL code.
• Improved the few queries with the help of Oracle concepts like Bulk collect.
• Coordinating with various interface systems on resolving their issues.
• Used CRONTAB tool for scheduling the job and monitor the alerts.
• Troubleshooting and Related activities.
• Responsible for data loadings as per their schedule timings (Daily, Weekly & monthly).
• Execute some shell scripts to make support work easier.

Description: Barclay’s data migration

Client - Barclays bank, UK

Barclays is being developed as the strategic cash management tool for Barclays to service the corporate customer base. Delivery of Barclays.Net has been split into a number of distinct releases where a part in Release 2 is. For Release 2 the delivery of Barclays.Net will include the functionality relevant to support a national launch of the product, and as such, will initiate a process to migrate customers from existing channels (BIB and BM). To support this process and to minimize the customer impact, tool is being that utilizes automated processes in order to migrate customers from BIB and BM to Barlcays.Net.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Creating Technical Design documents.
• Creating Estimation documents from the functional documents.
• Writing PL/SQL Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages and Triggers.
• Responsible for development and maintenance METHODS.
• Developing the code, Unit testing and reducing entry-level errors.
• Savings account accrual process had modified based on the Daily Closing balance.
• Prepared documents for UTP, FS, PS and support for SIT.
• Resolve day-to-day problems, defects and provide enhancements in the current system.
• Analysis the issues and raised during the implementation/production.
• Support the End of Day (EOD) process of Bank.
• Provide back-to-back user support during implementation (UAT/LIVE phase).
