Led Project Monitoring and Operation Team across 15 Active Projects, managing a portfolio with an order value over INR 25,000 Crs; responsibilies included progress monitoring, inputs for new prospects, review of order and change propsals, claim management and establishing financial control.

Major highlights include:

• Review of Baseline and Annual Budgets, with monthly review of Job Cost reports factoring in Risks and Opportunities for the project/ cost center
• Establishing Financial control on Business Operations by evaluating every financial proposal (order and amendments) to ensure that each project /cost center remains within its budgeted profit margin
• Forecasted and tracked resource mobilisation and material deliveries to project with active coordination with supply chain
• Developed Physical Project Monitoring (PPM) - a digital tool to track, highlight plan v actual variances, compare and consolidate physical progress status of projects across LWS Business; recognized with a CII innovation award
• Prepared civil and piping estimates for new business bidding prospects, incorporating innovative methods and cost optimisation principles
• Evaluating change orders, with root cause analysis, time and cost impact assessment and obtaining approvals as per organisation DoA matrix
• Claim management: Managed project claims lifecycle by meticulously logging and tracking all cases, interfacing with legal counsel, and providing cross-project knowledge to drive claim initiation and follow-ups.

Project experience includes my role as planning in-charge as well as execution engineer. Handled projects with multi-disciplinary engineering applications (civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation), involving piping, pump houses and LT and HT electrical transmission for ~139 MW power requirement.

• Planning and project controls in-charge for major Water/ Irrigation EPC project (Project value >INR 3000 Crs)
• Prepared baseline budget for projects and monitored project margin through monthly Job Cost Reports (JCRs)
• Developed execution target for construction mangers dervied from annual financial plan
• Prepared project physical and financial MIS reporting for higher management and clients, including bottlenecks, key supports required, and root causes of variances
• Developed project plan scheduling and progress monitoring systems tailored to project requirement, with in-built mechanisms to track and highlight resource utilisation, productivity, target slippages etc
• Identified project critical activities conducted risk assessment and formulated mitigating strategies
• Oversaw project scope management including work allocation and Work Order management
• Coordinated with engineering and supply chain deapartments for design approvals and materials procurement in synchronization with project schedule
