Consultant Obsterics and Gynecology
- Perform a wide range of gynecological minimal access surgeries inluding Laparoscopic hysterectomy (Total and Supracervical), Laparoscopic treatment of severe and deep infiltrative endometriosis, Laparoscopic management of complex adnexal masses (e.g., large ovarian cysts), Myomectomy (laparoscopic and hysteroscopic), Pelvic floor reconstruction and treatment of pelvic organ prolapse using minimally invasive approaches.
- Utilize and maintain proficiency with advanced surgical equipment, including electrosurgery devices, energy systems, and robotic platforms (if available).
- Abdominal hysterectomy, Vaginal Hysterectomy, Cystocele repair, Myomectomy, Laprotomy for Emergency Ectopic pregnancy and caesarean sections.
- Manage labor and delivery, performing routine and complicated vaginal deliveries.
- Able to independently do Embryo Transfer, IUI and ICSI.
- Do detailed fetal anomaly scan, colour doppler studies, amniocentesis and Routine obstetric ultrasound.
- Provide obstetric care including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum management for all patients
- Able to independently manage High Risk pregnancies and labor.
- Provide pre-conception counseling and post-natal care.
- Adress Infertility and Benign Genital disorders and Sexually transmitted diseases.
- Conduct regular health screenings and gynecological examinations, including Pap smears and breast exams
- Do colposcopy of patients and treat local pathologies of cervix.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for surgical residents and junior staff on laparoscopic techniques and patient selection criteria.
- Stay informed of the latest clinical practices, technologies, and trends in obstetrics and gynecology
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with all relevant regulations and institutional policies.
