Current roles & responsibilities:

1. Identify the business critical data items for which Enterprise Data Governance Management standard definitions need to be defined, agreed and applied across the business data sets.

2. Work with senior management teams, IT & Business stakeholders to assemble a steering group to oversee the development & deployment of Data Governance strategy.

3. Maintains understanding of the Enterprise Data Management concepts, principles and practices including Data catalogue, establish Data lineage and maintain operational data quality

4. Identify the gaps in execution and flag them via appropriate chanel and ensure the data catalogue in information governance tool is established accurately and revise based on the regulatory requirements

Accomplishments:

1. During Data Governance Phase 1 implementation, i have reviewed and catalogued 87 Data reports in the corporate governance tool which were received from multiple IT teams, during the activity i have observed 608 potential issues and collaborated with IT teams until resolution.

2. Astute in the applications such as Enterprise Data Catalogue & Information Governance Catalogue, Stewardship Center, Application Inventory Warehouse, Data Governance Utility.

3. Identified the potential challenges in the current Data Governance applications during the release testing and shared the ideas to upgrade the systems which will lead to increase in production and Data quality.
