PULMONOLOGY

• Ventilator Study: Participated in ventilator setup and management, gaining insight into the principles of mechanical ventilation. Gained hands-on experience in adjusting ventilator settings based on patient needs (e.g., pressure control, volume control, and oxygen requirements). Observed the weaning process of patients from ventilators and participated in discussions regarding the management of ventilator-associated complications.
• Sleep Study for Sleep Apnea: Assisted in the setup and monitoring of polysomnography (sleep study) for diagnosing obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Learned to interpret sleep study data, such as apnea-hypopnea index (AHI), oxygen desaturation, and sleep architecture. Observed the use of CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) therapy for treating sleep apnea and educated patients on its importance and proper usage.

• Outpatient Department (OPD) Exposure: Managed and observed a variety of respiratory cases, including asthma, COPD, pneumonia, and interstitial lung diseases. Gained practical experience in patient history-taking, physical examinations, and formulating differential diagnoses. Participated in patient counseling sessions, focusing on smoking cessation, asthma management, and the importance of vaccinations.

INTERNAL MEDICINE

• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Training: Gained hands-on experience navigating and documenting patient data in the hospital's EMR system. This training improved my ability to quickly access critical patient information and maintain accurate, up-to-date records.
• Outpatient Department (OPD) Exposure: Managed a variety of cases in the outpatient clinic, honing my diagnostic and treatment planning skills for common internal medicine conditions. This experience enhanced my ability to deliver comprehensive patient care in a busy outpatient setting.
• Acute Myocardial Infarction (MI) Management: Participated in the diagnosis, treatment, and post-event care of patients with myocardial infarction. Learned to recognize early signs, initiate appropriate treatment, and follow evidence-based protocols for managing MI cases.
• Orthopedic Case Involvement: Gained exposure to orthopedic cases, learning how to assess and manage musculoskeletal complaints within the internal medicine framework. This included collaborating with orthopedic teams to co-manage patients with complex conditions requiring multidisciplinary care.

• Awarded 'Certificate of Appreciation' for being 'Corona Warrior' during Covid-19 Pandemic
• Worked under Government Scheme 'Sanjeevani' for providing essential Covid kits and medicine to quarantined patients
• Did Rapid Antigen Test of more than 5000 samples
• Did more 2000 Sample Collection for RT-PCR test during 2nd wave of Covid-19 Pandemic
