19+ years (8+ years abroad and 15+ years with IBM) of experience in program, project, product, people, account management, Strategy, Sales, Business Consulting, Solution Architecture and business development of IT industry encompassing a wide range of skill set, roles and industry verticals with global working experience in Australia, Europe, Canada, US (6 years), Philippines and India in different client facing role. Managed up to $50 MN project with 34% GP. Technology skills include more than a decade of product development, Business Analytics and IT Enterprise experience to solve business problems in large organization settings. Strengths include team and relationship building, problem solving, leadership, negotiating, and operating in new and challenging global environments.
I am the primary point of contact for Client customer and is responsible for delivery, Strategy and Consulting for business transformation for Cloud-Data-AI, customer satisfaction, managing contractual cost, profitability of the account and business consulting. I manage the following functionalities.
Project and Solution Management Support for Technical, Tactical and Strategic Projects:
· Create and Maintain Customer Relationships
· Building and maintaining the relationship between IBM and Client IT Executives
· Act as a Lead consultant for the IBM and Client team for Cloud, Data and AI project implementation and support
· Lead the team in applying emerging technologies like Big Data, Cloud, and Mobile Applications to support or solve Client business objectives or problems.
· Primary point of contact for client requirements, expectation management, and overall client satisfaction
· In support of client needs, lead negotiations on new opportunities, resolution of business-critical issues, contract addendums, or service scope changes
· Conceptualize and implement strategies for growth of business opportunities and achieve consistent profitability and bottom-line profitability through effective program management
· Grow IBM footprint in the Data platform and AI space and exploring avenues for increasing IBM's presence in other areas. Meet or exceed financial targets
· Use available tools and processes to establish accountability for meeting or exceeding financial targets.
· Develop a proactive stance in financial risk management, forecasting, and activities leading to improved financial posture for IBM
· Own or lead results for financial targets, such as revenue, gross profit, erosion mitigation, or IBM cost challenges.
· Improve all elements of a solution's cost including lead recovery plan.
· Leverage working knowledge of Banking Industry trends, familiarity with the client's business objectives and market opportunity techniques to establish opportunity plans to support Client and IBM growth objectives.
· Lead the creation of an environment for growth and innovation, using IBM globally, as required, in closing new business, stemming erosion, and delivering client value. Create, maintain, and lead a high-performing account team
· Create and maintain high-performing account, delivery teams in support of Client objectives
· Improve annual customer satisfaction and Project Management Reviews and act as client's advocate.
· Consistently manage and exceed client expectations
· Promote the use of management system tools, methodologies, and processes that meet or exceed Client or IBM commitments. Contract, Program and Service Delivery Management
· Own and lead the development of Client account plan with respect to Service Delivery, Client growth plan and sales strategy.
· Provide direction and positively influence IBM teams or suppliers for better responsiveness
· Apply IBM and Client's legal, data security & privacy and regulatory business controls as appropriate and ensure low audit findings. Manage Delivery Processes
· Lead the team in applying the appropriate process standards such as ITIL and process maturity discipline (i.e., CMMI) to ensure service delivery activities were performed properly and in accordance with the contract.
· Ensure all appropriate processes, business controls, and measurements were established for the account, all personnel were trained, and updates were communicated effectively to keep the account in green status.
· Lead the use of the end-to-end business development process for business process outsourcing and transformation
· Work with IT PMO, client business and IT directors to gather the technology and project roadmap
· Align IBM resource planning and training strategy to be in line with client's technology and project roadmap
· Work with clients to cross train and re-train IBM resources to be aligned to client's project needs
· Work with clients IT PMO and supplier management to propose and review all statements of work
· Get approvals, SOW signatures, and get work started on the projects
· Identify risk, issues, and dependencies at the start of the project and keep working on closing these through the project lifecycle
· Work with client project management office for planning and executing projects
· Identify areas of scope and schedule creep. Present change requests and get them approved
· Responsible for all the planning, estimating, scheduling, and brainstorming on issues and identify solutions or alternate solutions for various IT projects that IBM delivers, and the resources involved in the project
· Provide guidance and direction to the team during project execution
· Analyze and manage resource allocation, reporting on utilization across the work stream, ensuring timely clocking against appropriate timesheet activities, maintaining resource vacation calendars
· Provide weekly, monthly status reports to the client and IBM management.
People Management :
· Responsible for employee development and planning. Coach and mentor employees on career development, education and certification enabling them to be competitive within the market as well as the employee is motivated to perform consistently.
· Conduct personal interviews and recruit new employees into IBM. Responsible for ensuring that the right people with the right expertise are engaged and energized on the right opportunities to deliver business results within the area which he is managing.
· Authorize separation of employees based on performance or freedom of action as applicable.
· Recognize as a leader in resolving team conflicts. Manage people issues, address concerns, and motivate and mentor team. Responsible for high-quality communication
· Work with people to plan career and guide them through various trainings and career paths.
As second line manager, review and nominate people for promotions, compensation increment decisions, managing poor performance etc.
