My role:

• Fixed lower level bugs and glitches reported by the L1 team.
• Gained knowledge on how large scale applications work.
• Dove deep into the system and gaining knowledge about the system design.
• Routed the complicated bugs reported by the L1 team to the respected members of the L3 team.
• Frequent testing of the application as an end user to identify bugs and glitches faced by the actual end user.
• Used internal company tools to identify the vulnerabilities in the application.
• Collaborated with the L1 team and understood the process of solving bugs and glitches reported and gained knowledge in various tech stack i.e. Java, Databases.
• Taking part in innovative design & development techniques to reduce the problems faced by the end users.
• Understood how a fin-tech environment works.

The company focuses on providing precision medicine by looking at the genetics, lifestyle and environment of a person in order to select treatment that could work best for them.

My role was to develop an application which is used by the organization's client, the application focuses on generating automated reports through the JSON files generated by the medical tests of the patients being done on large scale medical equipments.

The JSON is captured by the application and then renders it into a personalized report of the person focusing on the genes, lifestyle and environmental factors, the generated reports helps the doctor to understand the condition of the person in depth and selecting a treatment plan that works the best for them.

My role in the company :

• Designed and developed a front end web application from scratch.
• Used Javascript, HTML, CSS, Handlebars(Js framework) as the tech stack leading to proficiency in the above mentioned tech stack.
• Used raw data from JSON to obtain refined data to the end-user resulting in proficiency in JSON structures and uses.
• Used MongoDb to store the files in the database which were then integrated with the backend system to make it fully functional.
• Connected with the backend team and understanding the system and also collaborated with them to integrate the front end with the back end.
• The whole application is server side based on NodeJs, thus learning the fundamentals of NodeJs as well.
• Used API testing to do the unit testing and also collaborating with the QA team to do in depth testing of the whole application.
• Used data structures & algorithm in the source code to make the code more efficient and fast.
• Maximum use of reusable code through the medium of functions to reduce redundant code.
• Maintaining a standard CSS file to make the whole design consistent every section of the application.
• Used Git for proper versioning of the application and making all the versions compatible with the future upgrades.
• Writing regular internal documentation for the end user to flawlessly understand the whole application making it as simple as possible.
• Collaborate with product owner to understand how the system works and gained insightful knowledge on how system design works.
• The project is live and is used by many clients.
• Also add new features as suggested by the clients and handle any bugs reported.
