I graduated MBBS in 2013 from KMCT Medical College, Kerala, India. I completed 1 year of rotatory internship in medical and surgical departments. I have almost 8 years of experience post my graduation in fields of General surgery, Internal medicine, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Trauma and Emergency Medicine. Recently, I have done a three month attachment program in Department of Neurosurgery at Salford Royal Hospital,Manchester.

5. I previously worked as a senior resident doctor in department of emergency medical services at Aster medcity Kochi, India. Our A&E is the first in the country to e accredited by NABH, first to perform ECPR on an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, first in country to perform successful ED thoracotomy, first in country to introduce the concept of shock team resuscitation. Also I am proud to be working in 3rd best super specialty hospital which was recently ranked by outlook. I am trained to perform Point of care Ultrasound Protocols on a regular basis:
E-F AST, BLUE protocol, Screening Echocardiography, Screening renal ultrasound, screening Doppler vascular ultrasound. I have been part of hospital Code blue team. I have relevant experience in managing trauma patients and orthopedics emergencies. I have attended workshops in Emergency Wilderness Medicine from a renowned clinician from USA, Pediatric resuscitation workshop and POCUS workshop last year during the international emergency medicine workshop at our hospital.
I have also 2 years experience in working with Neurosurgery Team at the same hospital as a junior doctor during which I was posted in Neuro ICU ,wards, emergency department, managed outpatient clinics. I had taken part in various MDT meetings , tumor board sessions. I have been regularly looking after the inpatients admitted under Neurosurgery along with attending ward rounds following the plan made by the consultants, preparing discharge summaries of the patients and clerking daily progress notes and plans for each patient.
6. I have been part of quality improvement audits during my period as a resident doctor in department of neurosurgery, Also I have been part of various audits during my attachment program at Manchester recently.
7. I am very interested in teaching, and I have been part of BFIRST campaign under my department which aims in teaching basic first aid skills to general public and hospital staff. I also have experience during my work tenure in taking teaching sessions to my fellow colleagues in weekly teaching sessions. I have experience in taking teaching sessions to undergraduate students during my work tenure at medical college hospital at Malabar Medical College.
8. Since my graduation in 2013, I have been regularly attending CMES hosted by India Medical association also We have a weekly CME session in our hospital which I have been regularly part off during my work experience at Aster Medcity.
9. I have had medical and surgical experience as a junior doctor in various specialties, I also believe I will be able to do all the work which is expected from a junior doctor in the most effective manner . I have experience with post surgical patients and as a junior doctor in various medical and surgical specialties ICUs and ward.
10. Recently I did a clinical attachment program at Salford Royal, under the Northern Care Alliance Trust. This experience has made me aware about the duties and responsibilities of a junior doctor in the UK and also made me learn about the working of NHS system in detail. I am confident in doing ward duties, on call SHO duties from the experience gained here while working as a clinical observer. I also have been regularly shadowing the SHOs in Neuro ICU during the daily rounds.
11.During my tenure as resident doctor in department of Emergency Medicine at Aster Medcity , I have experience is clinically diagnosing and providing basic management to the patients and have also been part of resuscitation of patients at my hospital.
