PROJECT:

WORLDVISION -RMT (Rich Media Transfer)

About Project-

The Rich Media Transfer application is designed for ‘World Vision International’ NGO who works on sponsoring for children.

• In RMT application, media files are processed either through mobile app or PC app.
• The media and its metadata are reach RMT application via MFT (Managed File Transfer) then the files are stored in the ‘AWS S3 drop folder’. Once the media gets upload and stored in ‘S3 drop folder’, application checks whether the media is corrupted or not.
• The Horizon application deals with the sponsorship of children. The RMT application works on the media and related metadata those are inserted by Horizon application.
• There is web application for prod and stg environment that perform multiple application regarding data
• To monitor the data flow, Dashboard has the graph depicts the ‘No.of files processed’ in average time.
• The Web application used to consist various tab such GQR (Global Quality Review), Dashboard, User roles management, Child media approval menu, Project media approval, Media Set Approval menu, Duplicate Manager and various other functionalities tab which are used to perform tasks such as create, update, review, approval, rejection and maintain.

Tools Used-

SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio 2022, Postman, Visual studio Code, Azure Devops.

Skills Used -

.NET Framework, .NET Core, Angular, MySQL, C#, JavaScript.

Roles & Responsibilities-

• Conducted daily monitoring of data processing and job runs, documented results with graphs and screenshots.
• Performed tasks under RMT performance and maintenance guidelines.
• Participated in scheduled activities, including sanity checks and downtime validations for new servers.
• Modified database schemas, Stored procedure and to create new queries related to existing tasks.
• Enhanced website functionalities using Angular, such as updating tab layouts and page formats with additional new features.
• Produced various documentation, including Bug reports, SLA reports, Monthly status updates, Daily status Monitor report and RMT Report documentation.
• Implemented robust code and optimized existing code as per the requirement in JavaScript and C# to improve application performance.
• Developed unit test cases for new services and resolved service-related issues such as dead ends and response errors.
• Supported horizon team in case of data retrieval, data missing and assisted them during new data testing

• Assisted team in planning and scheduling tasks to enhance project organization.
• Collaborated with colleagues to streamline communication, resulting in improved workflow.
