Description: Selective Insurance Group Inc is a regional property-casualty insurer based in New Jersey, with its operations focused in the New York metropolitan area. Since 1977, Selective has focused its sales efforts on small businesses, offering commercial products that include workers' compensation, general liability, property, and auto insurance. Selective also has a small personal insurance segment (under 20% of total premiums), selling auto and homeowner's coverage.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Involved in all phases of SDLC from requirement gathering, design, development, testing, production, user training and support for production environment.

Create new mapping designs using various tools in Informatica Designer like Source Analyzer, Maplet Designer and Mapping Designer., Develop the mappings using needed Transformations in Informatica tool according to technical specifications.

Created complex mappings that involved implementation of Business Logic to load data in to staging area., Developed several reusable transformations and mapplets that were used in other mappings.

Performed data manipulations using various Informatica Transformations like Filter, Expression, Lookup (Connected and Un-Connected), Aggregate, Update Strategy, Normalizer, Joiner, Router, Sorter, Rank and Union.
