Roles & Responsibilities:

• Understanding the Requirements and Functional Specifications of the application.
• Identify the scenarios to be tested as per the functional requirements.
• Design effective functional Test Cases with respect to the identified scenarios.
• Create and execute Test Scripts for UI using Selenium Automation tool and TestNG.
• Creating the feature and page file for cucumber BDD development.
• API Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using REST Assured for validating RESTful web services and APIs.
• Craft HTTP requests (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE) and validate responses including status codes, response time, headers, and JSON/XML payloads.
• End-to-End Integration Testing: Coordinate and execute API tests as part of larger workflows, ensuring backend services interact as expected.
• Report defects & assist fixes through participation in Defect Triage.
• Planning the knowledge transfer sessions for any new resource joins the team.
• Attended Daily Scrum Call and kept the Team updated on the Project Status.
• Involved in Effort Tracking Activities and Participated in Test case document reviews.
• Prepared Weekly Status Reports with metrics to the Clients for Weekly Status Calls.
