G/Technology applications use relational database technology to store both graphic and attribute data, and to provide a unified facility database with data modeling, data manipulation, and analysis capabilities in a standalone, network, or field environment. The ARAMIS-DT user interface is based on G/Technology. Commands are available on the top menu bar.

This project uses centralized deployment techniques to serve fiber service to all customers with better quality. Equipment called LCC (cabinets) is installed, which is a primary distribution part to serve fibers to the customers. The inputs we receive are a database of the customers in the form of AutoCAD with their attributes. We use that existing data to plan a new fiber network design in AutoCAD, with BOM and BOQ. The output design (DWG and PDF) will be posted on the client server. We also create the feeder network from the central office by utilizing the existing network, and we place long-distance feeder cables to the cabinet.
The described practice of placing buried fiber optic cable 5 feet from the right of way (ROW), inside the road, with a contingency for using boring methods around obstacles like fire hydrants, water meters, and catch basins, is a standard and safe procedure in utility installation.
