Amazon Global Expansion Support

• Designed a scalable system for implementing global subscription fee waivers across various seller origin and target launch marketplaces. Successfully launched the initiative on Amazon Seller Central platform for Latin American and Asian sellers registering in North American marketplaces. This effort significantly boosted registration completion rates for Latin American sellers by 204 basis points and for Asian sellers by 152 basis points.
• Led the Operational Readiness Review (ORR) initiative for services managed by 10 teams within the organization, advocating for process and platform enhancements to achieve the goal. Successfully increased the number of services meeting the ORR threshold from below 52% to 90.5%.
• Designed and developed a system to enable global subscription fee waivers for sellers from Latin American and Singaporean origins listing their products for the first time in North American marketplaces
• Collaborated with the Seller Reimbursement team to improve the existing reimbursement tool, which previously supported only single transactions, enabling bulk processing of reimbursements. Led weekly sync-ups to keep business and technical stakeholders informed about project progress.
• Developed systems within the Amazon Seller Central registration platform to facilitate bank account usage as a payment method for sellers from India. Collaborated with the seller central payment validation and management team, leading a team of four members to integrate bank accounts as a payment option during seller registration.

Subscribe & Save

• Led the migration of the Gold standard buy box for the Subscribe & Save feature on Amazon's detail pages, reducing the launch time for new buy box features from 6 weeks to 2 weeks.
• Designed and tested variations of the Subscribe & Save discount display on Amazon's detail pages to effectively communicate discount information to customers.
• Implemented a strategy to default non-Prime customers and those without a Subscribe & Save subscription to the Subscribe & Save delivery option instead of the standard Amazon delivery, leveraging free shipping benefits for customers.
• Contributed to the migration of Subscribe & Save APIs to Granular APIs, enabling support for more detailed delivery frequencies on the Manage Your Deliveries page of the Subscribe & Save program.
• Designed and implemented defaulting promotions to Lightning Deals while suppressing upsell promotions for Subscribe & Save in Amazon Cart & Checkout, ensuring customers benefit from Lightning Deal promotions.

Appstore

• Enhanced the scalability of the Appstore registration systems by optimizing code and database queries. Contributed to the successful launch of Alexa blueprints by scaling the Appstore registration flow from 1 transaction per second (tps) to 10 tps.
• Designed and executed a database migration project, moving Appstore registration systems from Oracle to Amazon's proprietary Aurora DB. Scaled the system to support over 330 transactions per second (tps).
• Developed a vendor data sharing system enabling clients to securely access Appstore vendor data while meeting stringent information security standards.
• Spearheaded the vendor code decoupling initiative to further boost the scalability of registration systems. Coordinated with client teams involved in Appstore registration, ensuring alignment and collaboration for successful implementation.

Amazon Music

• Created and deployed the initial phase of automated scaling systems for Amazon Music services. This system retrieves traffic data from the data warehouse, applies business formulas provided by the product team, and forecasts service traffic for the Amazon Music team.
• Led the migration of use cases from the legacy Amazon service framework in IndigoAllMusicService to the modern DigitalMusicOrderService framework.
• Enhanced the music ordering process by optimizing flow and reducing purchase latency by 700ms.
• Represented Amazon Music in Digital organization load testing ("game day") for multiple years. Ensured that Amazon Music scaled effectively during peak periods, preventing any performance issues.

Global Payments

• Developed a comprehensive metrics dashboard for AmazonPaymentsAccountsService and AmazonPaymentsAccountWorkflowService. Defined API-level thresholds and automated weekly data generation, facilitating stakeholder review of key metrics via email.
• Optimized Amazon Payments account registration workflows by streamlining the workflow execution graph and eliminating duplicate steps.
