Development of a low-cost Wi-Fi MAC scanner for Traffic Sensing, Dr. Lelitha Devi, 01/2018, 05/2018, Designed a Wi-Fi MAC scanner capable of estimating travel time information in urban heterogeneous traffic conditions. Reduced the cost per sensor by 10 times compared to the commercially available Wi-Fi MAC Scanners for traffic sensing. Developed the custom API in python to extract, log and transfer the travel time information to cloud database in real time. Captcha Recognition Model, Dr. Benny Raphael, 01/2019, 05/2019, Developed a captcha recognition model using Thresholding, Dilation (of white) and Erosion; trained over 1000+ images. Extracted each character of image using edge detection and then trained each character using random forest classifier. Achieved an F1 score of 95% and got accuracy of 90% on each character and whole captcha respectively.
