Projects

Title: “Impact of Demonetization on Rural Population”

In this project I have assessed the impact of demonetization on rural people where  most people depend on cash for day-to-day transaction. The aim of the study is to  understand the challenges faced by rural people during demonetization. For the  analysis purpose, we have conceptually reviewed articles and conducted online  surveys.

Conclusion: We have found that the rural people had faced problems for  exchanging their old currency to new ones. The income of daily wage workers has  been delayed for 2-3 weeks. As the rural people are hugely cash based they found it  difficult to transform from cash to cashless transactions.
