Surface structure and Mechanical properties of Friction Stir Welded AA7075 with Nano particulates (01/2023 – 06/2023)
Objective: To present the feasibility of joining two similar composite plates by Friction Stir Welding (FSW) which is
reinforced by Titanium carbide, Aluminium oxide, and Boron carbide nanopowders and base metal formed by the Stir
casting method. The surface structure and mechanical properties of Friction Stir Welded (FSW) AA7075 reinforced with
Nanopowders and without Nano powers are compared.
Softwares used: Creo for Designing Friction Stir Welding Tool, Ansys For Thermal analysis
The methodology used: Stir Casting machine, Mould, Milling machine, Friction Stir Welding Machine
Investigation of Stresses During Contact of Cutting Tool and Various Specimens on Lathe Machine, Journal of Xidian University
Abstract:
Contact stress between the contact parts may not be significant at the time of design in comparison to other parameters but it is very important to consider while designing the product. Contact stresses can be occurred between sphere and sphere, cylinder and cylinder, cylinder and sphere etc. In this paper presented the contact stress analysis for cutting tool of lathe machine
with various materials such as Al 7075-T6, Brass and Mild steel. The contact stress analysis was studied in simulation
and observed the contact stress during the impact and shear stresses in the each body. The contact force was calculated
experimentally by using
lathe dynamo meter.
