Vedveer Arya

Vedveer Arya is a 1997 batch officer of Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS) and senior officer from the Ministry of Defence and presently working as Additional Financial Advisor and Additional Secretary in the Department of Defence R&D, Ministry of Defence (Finance), New Delhi. Vedveer Arya is a distinguished chronologist, historian, Sanskrit scholar and a senior civil servant, whose groundbreaking research has redefined the chronology of India and global history. In this two-volume work, he challenges conventional historical timelines, unearthing profound discrepancies that have shaped — and often distorted — the perceived origins and chronology of Indo-Eurasian civilizations. Through meticulous research, Arya has exposed pivotal errors in mainstream historiography, revealing a staggering 661-year miscalculation in global chronology and a 1,381-year error in dating the Buddha’s nirvana.
