The Existed version of the Money Market Investment Desk (MMID) application and The Performance Research Tool (PERT) was written in Visual Basic 6.0, and stored its data on a SQL Server 2000 database and resided on workstation PC’s running Windows XP. Since Bank was upgrading its workstations to the Windows 7 operating system. The version of MMID & PERT would not run on Windows 7 and did not comply with the Bank’s long-term technology roadmap.
