Project Overview: HSBC Bank

• Quantexa is utilized in KYC to find the strongest match between internal Customer data and variety of core banking sources and external sources. There are in total of 32+ sources internal to Bank and 4 external sources managed by our team on a daily batch.

Responsibilities:

• Led an 8-member team of Q Developers and DAs on delivering the following in FY24.
• Legacy to Fusion migration of all sources.
• Recalibration of GRID based records matching to enhance quality of entities avoiding over clustering
• Built a common model framework, which largely helped in reducing timeline in adding new sources into Quantexa
• Product upgrade from v2.1 to v2.5.16 to align the repo with industry best practices of low code/no code frameworks.

Project Overview: Standard Chartered Bank

• Quantexa was utilized in transaction explorer and generate networks for customers, transactions, cases (alerts), and watch-lists for investigating, monitoring, and analyzing the cases or alerts triggered using other systems. or alerts, triggered using other systems.

Responsibilities:

• Developing ETL pipelines using Quantexa Legacy Framework from Import to Load Elastic and performing DQ checks.
• Integrating multiple elastic instance to use external sources from other team's elastic instances.
• Addressing production issues as they arise. Both batch and technical bugs which leads to underlinking/overlinking.
• Product upgrade from v1.6 to v2.0.
• Extending these Quantexa pipelines to around 60+ countries with country specific logic.
• Configured security layer to provide multiple roles & access for each country within Quantexa security policies.

Project Overview:

• Product Development (SaaS product)
• Developing ETL framework in Scala that runs as a spark application to manipulate any data with generic transformation functions.
• Building restful controllers to communicate with clusters.
• Identifying bottlenecks at different stages of the spark application to improve performance.

Responsibility:

• Design and Development of ONCE STB Application and roles includes
• Rewrite of existing system to spark based system using Java/Spark and Scala/Spark
• Development of complex calculations using Java/Spark to meet or beat the SLAs already set by legacy systems.
