Roles and Responsibilities

• Reviewing and analyzing unpaid claims.
• Resubmitting claims and managing denials to ensure claims are paid.
• Correcting any coding errors and resubmitting claims if necessary.
• Accurately posting payments received from insurance companies and patients.
• Reconciling posted payments with the billed amounts to ensure accuracy.
• Reconciling accounts to ensure all payments are received and properly accounted for.
• Investigating and resolving discrepancies between the billed amounts and payments received.
• Preparing regular reports on AR status,Including aging reports, denial rates, and recovery rates.
• Analyzing trends in denials and payment delays to identify areas for improvement
• Communicating with insurance companies, patients, and other stakeholders to resolve billing issues.
• Coordinating with other departments, such as coding and patient services, to ensure a smooth billing process.
• Participating in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards and best practices.
• Sharing knowledge and training new team members as needed.
