I run the specialised Child Guidance Clinic at the department of psychiatry at my hospital, where I cater to clinical, medicolegal and school referrals involving scholastic and behavioural issues of children and adolescents.
I also handle active issues of developmental delays, childhood emotional and anxiety issues and psychiatric problems related to chronic physical conditions individually by means of direct consults and also liaison with department of pediatrics.
I am also the 'Counsellor' for the 'Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan' Hostel Committee where we involve students of first years in hostel and day-scholar life to get regular awareness programs and life skills development coaching in order to reduce substance abuse and other stress related maladaptive coping issues.
I also conduct regular school programs as a Life Skills Training Facilitator with active guidance in collaboration with Sumana Trust run by the legendary Dr Srikala Bharat.

I have always been interested in Music. Was part of a light music and rock band during my MBBS days as a drummer. During my PG times, along with my colleagues we formed a band called 'First Rank Symptoms' and recorded a few original tracks. During my time in PGI, was part of another light music band called 'Sukoon'. Have also enjoyed Public Speaking. Have won best delegate award in a 'Model United Nations' event in CHARM-2013, Chengalpettu Medical College. Also won several extempore competitions during my academic years.
