Job Description:

Test Scenario Identification and Execution:

• My role involves identifying test scenarios, crafting test designs for user stories, and executing them using both HP ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) tool and Azure DevOps (ADO).

Database Testing:

• Ensure that data is stored and retrieved accurately.
• Validate data constraints, such as unique keys, primary keys, and foreign keys.
• Check for data consistency and accuracy.

UI Integration Testing:

• Validate the integration of data between the UI and backend systems.
• Ensure that data entered in the UI is correctly processed and stored.
• Test error messages and validation checks in the UI.
• Ensure that appropriate error messages are displayed when users input incorrect data.

SIT/E2E Testing:

• Verify the entire application from start to finish, checking its interaction with external systems, databases, networks, and other components.
• The purpose of E2E testing is to ensure that the application behaves as expected in a real-world scenario, simulating the user’s complete workflow.
• Ensure that appropriate error messages are displayed when users input incorrect data.

Automated Testing:

• In the realm of Automated Testing, my focus is on harnessing the power of automation tools to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the testing process. This involves:

Regression Testing:

• Employing automated testing tools to systematically re-run test cases after code changes to ensure that new modifications haven’t introduced unexpected defects.
• Focusing on creating modular and reusable automated test scripts, optimizing testing efforts and al- lowing for swift adaptation to changes in the application.
• Integrating automated tests into the Continuous Integration (CI) pipeline to facilitate the early detection of issues, promoting a more streamlined and automated software delivery process.
